What You’ll Learn

Across four friendly sessions, our Digital Champions will support you with:

  • Recognising scams and harmful content
  • Building everyday digital confidence

This is a basic IT skills course (free), suitable for complete beginners. No previous experience needed and devices are provided if you don’t have your own.

Free Refurbished Chromebook for Every Participant

Everyone who completes the course will receive a free refurbished Chromebook to take home. This supports our mission to reduce e-waste and provide greater access to digital learning tools.

All Chromebooks are securely wiped and professionally restored by our computer recycling charity team of volunteers. These devices come from members of the community who donate laptops, local businesses looking to recycle responsibly, and partners who support our work.

If you’ve ever wondered “where can I recycle computers near me?” — Power to Connect is your local, trusted option for laptops for charityrecycling electrical items, and reducing digital inequality at the same time.
