This feature comes alongside incredible news: we have been awarded a £12,500 grant from the Masonic Charitable Foundation. This crucial funding will directly support our mission to tackle digital exclusion across the borough.
Expanding Free Digital Support in Wandsworth
Digital access is no longer a luxury—it is an essential part of everyday life. From booking healthcare appointments and accessing education to applying for jobs and staying in touch with loved ones, staying connected matters.
Thanks to this generous grant, we can expand our free digital skills training in the UK by running more regular digital drop-in sessions at local hubs, including:
- Battersea Library
- Southfields Library
- Tooting Library
- Roehampton Library
- Wandsworth Library
These drop-ins provide tailored support, helping residents build confidence through accessible digital literacy courses in a welcoming environment.
Getting Refurbished Tech to Local Families
Beyond skills training, closing the digital divide requires reliable hardware. The £12,500 grant will also help us get refurbished laptops and smartphones directly into the hands of Wandsworth families who need them most.
Through our hardware initiatives, we work as a computer recycling charity to take unused devices, ensure responsible recycling of electrical items, and redistribute technology to reduce local inequalities.
