Record Volunteer Hours Boost Digital Inclusion in Wandsworth

November was an incredible month for digital inclusion in Wandsworth! Our amazing volunteers donated a record-breaking 157 hours, surpassing our previous high of 130 hours in September. Every hour contributed makes a real difference, from helping residents get online at libraries including Wandsworth LibraryBattersea Library, and more, to supporting digital skills courses and refurbishing donated devices.

These efforts ensure that everyone can access technology and benefit from free digital skills training UKdigital literacy courses UK, and even basic IT skills course free sessions. By recycling devices through initiatives like recycle computers near melaptops for charity, and computer recycling charity programmes, volunteers help reduce e-waste while supporting learning opportunities for local residents.

If you’re inspired to make a difference, there are many ways to get involved. Consider volunteering in Wandsworth to assist with digital skills courses or community drop-ins, or help donate laptops UK and other devices to support learners. Every contribution – time, tech, or funds – drives progress towards fair digital access for everyone.

Join us in creating a community where technology empowers everyone. Together, we can continue to tackle digital exclusion and make Wandsworth a place where everyone can thrive online.
