🏃 The Final Countdown: Nick Takes on the Brighton Marathon!
The training runs are done, the carb-loading has begun, and the excitement is building! Our very own Nick is just 4 days away from tackling 26.2 miles at the Brighton Marathon this Sunday, 12th April.
Nick has been putting in incredible effort behind the scenes, all to raise vital funds for Power to Connect. We are so proud to have him representing our mission on the streets of Brighton!
Where does your donation go?
We often get asked how fundraising miles turn into community impact. Every penny raised through Nick’s marathon run goes directly toward:
- Refurbishing Tech: Covering the costs to professionally data-wipe and repair donated devices.
- Essential Parts: Buying the chargers, batteries, and webcams that help us recycle computers for those in need.
- Digital Skills Support: Funding our community programmes and free digital skills training in local hubs like Battersea Library and Southfields Library.
Essentially, your support helps us turn a donated laptop into a life-changing tool for a neighbor in Wandsworth.
Show Nick Some Love!
The “wall” at mile 20 is much easier to climb when you know you have a community behind you. If you’ve been thinking about donating, now is the perfect time to give Nick that final boost of motivation.
Whether it’s the cost of a coffee or a larger pledge, your contribution directly fuels digital inclusion in our borough.
Support Nick’s Fundraiser Here. Good luck, Nick! We’ll be cheering the loudest from Wandsworth!
