Meet the Team Powering Digital Inclusion in Wandsworth
At Power to Connect, people are at the heart of everything we do. From supporting residents at Wandsworth Library, Battersea Library, Southfields Library and community venues across the borough, to preparing donated devices for families who need them most, our small-but-mighty team works every day to break down digital barriers and expand access to technology.
As the demand for digital inclusion, digital skills courses, and free digital skills training UK continues to grow, these are some of the faces helping make it all possible. You can also check out our meet the team page for more info!
Megan – CEO
Megan leads the organisation with a clear mission: ensuring every resident has the tools, confidence, and access they need to thrive in a digital world. She works closely with partners, funders, and community groups to grow our impact — from device donations to expanding digital literacy courses UK.
Sami – Digital Tutor
Whether it’s helping someone send their first email or supporting jobseekers online, Sami offers patient, friendly guidance at our drop-ins across the borough. His work helps residents gain essential digital skills and confidence, especially for those starting with basic IT skills course free sessions.
Emily – Marketing & Volunteer Coordinator
Emily connects our growing network of volunteers, partners, and supporters. From coordinating sessions to encouraging volunteering in Wandsworth, she ensures people know where to get help — or how to help others. She also leads campaigns encouraging residents and businesses to donate laptops UK, helping us turn unwanted tech into life-changing resources.
Nick – Digital Tutor
Nick supports local residents at our library and community sessions, turning tricky digital problems into “I’ve got it!” moments. His patient, one-to-one teaching helps people build real, practical skills they’ll use every day.
How Your Old Tech Helps Us Power Change
Alongside our team of tutors and volunteers, our device refurbishment work plays a huge part in tackling digital inequality. By encouraging residents and businesses to recycle computers, donate laptops for charity, and give unused devices a second life, we’re able to support families, students, jobseekers and older adults across Wandsworth.
As a computer recycling charity, we safely wipe, refurbish and redistribute donated devices — reducing e-waste and boosting access to digital opportunities. If you’re upgrading your devices or looking into recycling electrical items, your old tech could make a huge difference to someone locally.
Join Us in Making Digital Access a Reality
